Position Overview for the Automation Tester:

• Automation test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test software and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best software possible.
• Ensure Software Quality: Collaborate with developers to ensure the functionality, reliability, and user experience of our software meet high standards through rigorous testing.
• Expertise in Test Automation: Utilize your expertise in test automation frameworks like Selenium to develop, configure, and execute automated test scripts, maintaining automated test environments for efficient testing processes.
• Thorough Testing Approach: Employ your experience in writing detailed test plans and cases, creating scenarios, and executing scripts to generate comprehensive test results, ensuring all aspects of software functionality are thoroughly tested.
• Support Agile Development: Support an Agile development process by implementing incremental automation test scripts, adhering to the Agile team cadence, and actively participating in acceptance test-driven development.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with CI best practices, integrating testing processes seamlessly into the client development environment, while continuously improving testing methodologies to enhance software quality.

Required Skills for the Automation Tester:

• Proficient in writing test plans, detailed test cases, and creating test scenarios
• Skilled in executing and maintaining test scripts, both manual and automated
• Experienced in reviewing business requirements and system specifications to plan test scope
• Familiar with SDLC and implementing incremental automation test scripts in Agile teams
• Knowledgeable in test automation frameworks like Selenium and version control tools like Git and SVN

Compensation Details: $84,600 to $193,000
