Last week I had the privilege of attending FSU’s 10th annual Power Forward conference with special guests Barbara Corcoran and Robert Herjavec. After growing up watching Barbara and Robert help aspiring entrepreneurs, it was so surreal to see them speak here on campus! Looking back on this summer, it was a pleasure working with AdSizzle Realty Inc. alongside Angye Fox. During the course of my internship, I experienced first-hand residential and commercial real estate transactions through market research, showings, contracts, etc. I assisted Angye with property showings and social media. Our biggest success was finding a commercial lease for our client to sign on to begin her new business concept, The Spiral Staircase Tampa. I’m thrilled to announce that I have accepted an internship with my mentor Angye Fox as an AdSizzle Realty Apprentice this upcoming Summer of 2023! The AdSizzle Realty Apprentice is responsible for researching commercial and residential real estate market data, attending on-site inspections of properties, assisting with social media marketing, participating in a weekly real estate podcast, and more! This past week, I had the opportunity to attend a meeting of Angye Fox's Kiwanis Club, where guest speaker Robert Henriquez, our Hillsborough County Property Appraiser, came to discuss various topics of real estate appraisal! We learned about the 21% increase in property value across the Tampa Bay Area between 2021-2022, as well as insightful information about property taxes and the Homestead Exemption. Thank you Bob and Angye!
